How to grow it
- One of the "try something new" plants Cindy recommends experimenting with in the garden, alongside things like honeyberries and other perennial fruit.
- Give the vine a sunny spot and something strong to climb — grapes need real support.
- Patience pays: a new vine takes a few years to settle in before fruiting well.
How to use & eat it
- Great in fruit leather — combine with apple sauce as a base (an "apple grape blend").
- If the grapes have seeds, puree them first before combining.
- Eat fresh off the vine, or press for juice.
