Ingredients

  • 700 g green beans, trimmed to jar height
  • 2 cups white vinegar (5% acidity)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp pickling salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, 2 dill heads, 1 tsp chili flakes

Steps

  1. 1Pack beans upright in clean jars with garlic, dill, and chili.
  2. 2Boil vinegar, water, and salt until the salt dissolves.
  3. 3Pour hot brine over the beans to cover completely.
  4. 4Cool on the counter, lid, and refrigerate.
  5. 5Wait three days before the first jar. They peak around day ten.
