Rhubarb Slush
A nostalgic frozen rhubarb drink Cindy grew up on, served at parties topped up with ginger ale.

Ingredients
- 8 cups chopped rhubarb
- 8 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Ginger ale, to serve
Steps
- 1Simmer the rhubarb, water, and sugar until tender.
- 2Mash or puree, then stir in the lemon juice.
- 3Freeze in a pail, stirring once or twice if you remember.
- 4Scoop into glasses and top with ginger ale to serve.
- 5Variations: add strawberries, strawberry jello, orange juice concentrate, or pineapple juice.
